Manly Yacht Club offers a stunning waterfront venue located in a heritage-listed building on the eastern shore of Manly Cove. With breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour from our spacious, covered balcony, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for any special celebration. The flexible, blank canvas space allows you to customise the venue to suit your event, whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or private party.

Yes! Manly Yacht Club allows you complete freedom when it comes to catering. You can hire any caterer, cater the event yourself, or select one of the caterers we recommend, who regularly service functions at the club. This flexibility ensures you're in full control of both your menu and your budget.
Absolutely! You can arrange your own beverages, with no corkage fee charged. Buy your drinks and have them delivered to stock the bar. Dan Murphy’s will even deliver and buy back any unopened alcohol after your event. This gives you complete control over your beverage selection and budget.
Manly Yacht Club can accommodate both seated and cocktail-style functions.
- Seated: The hall can seat up to 100 guests, and the covered balcony can seat up to 60 guests.
- Cocktail: The venue can host up to 170 guests for a cocktail-style event, utilising both the hall and the balcony.
There is street parking outside the club but this can be difficult to find and is limited to 2 hours until 6pm. Northern Beaches Council car parks are listed on their website and the closest is Wentworth Street car park. This has free parking for 2 hours during the day time. There is also a Wilson car park at Manly Wharf which offers full day parking for $35 if booked in advance online.

The club does not have any of these. You need to supply everything including table cloths, napkins, bottle openers, serving utensils. These can be hired from Event Hire Services or AVA Hire or supplied by your caterer.
Typically, venue hire is for the entire day and evening, so your event can begin at a time that suits you.
- Set-up can begin from 9am.
- Guests must leave by 11:30pm, and the venue must be vacated by 12 midnight.
Yes! We offer a sound system for hire, which includes a cordless microphone and speakers for both indoor and outdoor use, with separate volume controls. You can also bring your own sound system, hire a DJ, or have acoustic live music.
Please note: No live amplified instruments are allowed, but a microphone for the singer with acoustic instruments is fine. Music must be turned off by 11:30pm.
- $1,000 incl GST – Refundable Bond (post-event inspection required)
- $300 incl GST – Cleaning fee
- $465 incl GST – Security (mandatory for evening functions finishing after 8pm)
Optional Extras
Sound System - $230 incl GST
The Sound System includes microphone, amplifier, mixer, and indoor and outdoor mounted speakers. Suitable to connect your laptop or phone via an auxiliary cable connection. The speakers are mounted on the balcony with a second set mounted in the hall with separate volume level controls for each area. Instructions will be provided closer to the time.
Hall Drapes - $500 incl GST
The hall drapes are a fine white fabric which cover the honour boards on the street wall hanging down about 1 metre, and cover the full length of the back wall from ceiling to floor. They drop down over the TV or fit around the TV if you wish to book the TV. The cost includes delivery, installation and taking them down afterwards.
Balcony Drapes - $390 incl GST
The balcony drapes are a fine white fabric which run through the rafters and tie neatly on the balustrade behind the barbeque. The cost includes delivery, installation and taking them down afterwards.
Balcony Barbeque - $80 incl GST
Large gas barbeque with two flat plates and steel cover. You are required to clean the BBQ after use.
Television - $80 incl GST
70 inch LED TV/Monitor/Screen for showing slideshows, photos and presentations. With HDMI, PC monitor (DVI-I male), VGA, and Chromecast connections.

To confirm your booking, we require a 50% deposit of the venue hire fee, which can be paid by credit card. We also need a photocopy of your photo ID (driver’s licence) submitted with the booking form. You can email a photo of your ID along with the completed booking form. The remaining balance, including the $1,000 bond, will be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your event.
